Meet Tim Peake

In 2015, Major Tim Peake became the first British astronaut to visit the International Space Station, spending six months on the Principia mission. This was designed, in part, to change how young people thought about space and to engage the next generation of scientists and engineers.

Tim conducted hundreds of experiments in outer space, and more than 2 million children in the UK participated in related education and outreach programmes. Continuing this work, Tim will be answering questions from young people (aged 11-18) in an exclusive session for Future TalentEd and Barclays LifeSkills communities.

Please share this exciting opportunity for students to question Tim about space and the space industry, STEM careers, and his chances of joining NASA’s Artemis Program to return astronauts to the moon by 2024. It’s free of charge and open to everybody!
