Diagnostic Radiography

For students who are in Year 13+, we have a range of 1 or 2 day Diagnostic Radiography work experience opportunities available across the Health Trusts (not the Western).  Please ask your Careers Teacher to make contact to request these. Once the places are taken, supply will be limited.

A Diagnostic Radiographer uses the latest technology, such as x-ray and ultrasound machines, as well as other forms of imaging technology, to look inside a patient’s body and find out what’s causing their illness.  Working in a range of hospital departments, you’ll acquire images to help with the diagnosis of illnesses and injuries.
