The South Eastern Health and Social Care Trust are continuing their discussions and scoping about the return of in-person work experience across the Trust and across the occupational areas.
We are delighted to announce that the Medical Education team have agreed a relaunch of their in person Medical Programme which will return as a one day opportunity on the 15 September 2023. (Please note, this is a teaching timetable and is delivered in a group setting).
Spaces on this programme are very limited and spaces will be allocated equitably and on a first come first saved basis. We will start by offering schools one place and will maintain a waiting list if there is capacity to offer schools an extra place on the programme.

- Tour of medical departments
- Practical application
- Employability: understanding your chosen career and applying for medicine

PLEASE NOTE there are NO SPONSORED MEDICAL PLACEMENTS permitted in the South Eastern Health and Social Care Trust. This is the only programme that the South Eastern Trust is supporting for medical work experience.
