The Western Trust employs approximately 12,000 staff making them the largest employer in the geography, which includes the council areas of Limavady, Londonderry, Strabane, Omagh and Fermanagh. They provide a range of services including acute hospital services, mental health, learning disability and physical disability services, social care and primary and community care services. The majority of services are delivered in community-based settings with access to specialist in-patient services available from a number of hospitals.
